Overview
Over several decades, I have been engaged in humanitarian service, disaster response, and emergency preparedness in the United States and internationally. My work has spanned early training, field deployment, operational coordination, and leadership with established humanitarian and emergency-response organizations.

  • Disaster medical response and emergency clinical support
  • Disaster preparedness training and simulation

Experience Highlights

  • Red Cross Disaster Services – disaster response, shelter operations, and emergency support
  • First Aid Simulation Team (FAST) – development and execution of disaster simulations for first responders
  • International disaster deployments – early “first-in” response roles during acute phases of crises
  • Israel disaster preparedness initiatives – participation in emergency preparedness programs, including components coordinated with Israeli emergency and military frameworks
  • Early emergency service – volunteer in the emergency department at Morrisania Hospital throughout high school (grades 9–12), providing foundational exposure to emergency medicine and patient care

My humanitarian work emphasizes rapid stabilization, effective coordination, and respect for local capacity. The objective is always practical: reduce suffering, support recovery, and strengthen systems under extreme stress.
